Print Generator

PETER PILOTTO & CHRISTOPHER DE VOS RESORT '13 PRESENTATION

Whoaaa! Talk about trippppyyy. I was floored when I came across this installation from Pitti Immagine UOMO, a four-day exhibition showcasing some of the raddest and upcoming menswear designers. But when Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, guest womenswear designers, collaborated their resort '13 collections, they completely stole the show. I'm a sucker for beautiful prints and putting these amazing clothes in front of 3D printed backgrounds?! Just AH-MAZING. And as a graphic designer, this just makes my heart melt, so inspiring!

New In: Red & Wood

SHWOOD SUNGLASSES
FOREVER 21 BOX PURSE

Remember these? I have been obsessing over them since winter and alas! They are mine! These Zebrawood sunnies are handcrafted in Oregon and are amazingly light weight. Ummm, amazing. Get them here, in a variety of woods and styles. And this cute little box bag is a surprising purchase from Forever 21. It's definitely Wang inspired, but at a very tiny fraction of the cost. A while back, I had found a satchel with the same metal corners from Forever 21 and I instantly fell in love with it and immediately bought it in cream and black. So, naturally I needed this little red box version as well. Another plus; it looks way more expensive than it is (ahem, $30!).

Food For You: Quinoa Pizza Bites

Since it was a million degrees here in New York yesterday, I decided to stay in the nice air conditioning and make some tasty bites to snack on. These quinoa pizza bites are super easy to make and quite delicious. They're perfect for entertaining or as a snack for kids. Plus, they're relatively healthy (compared to regular frozen pizza bites) at 175 calories per serving (5 bites).

You'll need:

-2 cups of cooked quinoa
-2 eggs
-1 cup chopped onion
-1 cup shredded mozzarella
-2 cloves of minced garlic
-1/2 cup fresh, chopped basil
-1 cup chopped pepperoni (or leave it out if you're vegetarian!)
-1/2 tsp seasoning salt (I substituted with salt, pepper and powdered garlic)
-1 tsp paprika
-1 tsp dried, crushed oregano
-Your choice of sauce (i.e. marinara, tomato and basil sauce...)

First, cook your quinoa by package directions. About 1 cup of dried quinoa makes 2 cups cooked. Preheat oven to 350ยบ

Next, prepare all other ingredients in a bowl. A food processor makes your life much easier when chopping the onion, garlic, basil and pepperoni.

Mix all of your ingredients together (except dipping sauce) and plop tablespoon fulls of mixture into greased mini muffin tins.

Bake these little babies for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven. When done, let cool for a few minutes before taking them out. Serve with your sauce and tada! Time to chow down!

Told ya it was easy! Enjoy!
