Animalistic Tee

BIK BOK-ANIMAL TEE
I can't help but notice animal tees and dresses popping up all over the place...and well, it's pretty freaking awesome. I especially love the relaxed look of the first two photos, but really, I can find a shirt exactly like that from a thrift store. I jumped on that real quick and placed my bid on a rad panther tee from Ebay (fingers crossed, although I don't think everyone's running to Ebay for a ridiculous panther tee shirt). I think if when I get the tee I'm going to work a little DIY magic to make it fit just right. Oh, but who could forget Christopher Kane's Spring 2009 Gorilla dresses? I can't, and that's precisely why I'm suddenly infatuated with giant animal heads.

Versace for H&M Dress

HOLY CRAP! I just found out that I won a Versace for H&M dress on the blog StyleScrapbook.com! I'm super excited because only 2 dresses were made in this particular color, and oh yea, I've never won anything in my life haha. Saving this baby for New Year's Eve when I'll be staying in Miami! YAY!

El Carmen

I apologize for such a big break! So many things to do and so little time!
I thought I would start off by saying that Kate Middleton looked absolutely gorgeous at her royal wedding yesterday! Sarah Burton by Alexander McQueen...HELLOOOO, AMAZING. So elegant and traditional (very similar to Grace Kelly's wedding dress) yet with a wonderful modern twist. And for the record, I don't really mind her sister wearing white (since there are so many people raving about this), she looked beautiful as well, but definitely did not show up her sister at all. It actually went quite well with all the other little bridemaids and made for a perfect palette. Oh yea, and those hats! The guests were rocking these structural and extravagent numbers (check out this slideshow at CBS.com), this is something I wish we did in America more.
Enough about the royal wedding, here is my latest shoe crush... It is called El Carmen by Jeffrey Campbell. I've seen this shoe in various polka dotted colors (too pin upy) and the American flag (no thanks). But then I saw them in this crazy watercolor/tie-dye looking print on Solestruck.com and I died. Have to have them. Solestruck.com was out of my size, DANG! But wait, Karmaloop.com has them too! Yippee!
Oh Jeffrey, you never cease to amaze me...
