Pumped Up Kicks

Some pictures from this past weekend that I spent at home on Long Island. Spent some time with friends and family, oh yes, and the animals. How cute is my sisters new puppy Elliot? Love him! And what are these ridiculous things south of my ankles you say? Well they're amazing converse inspired wedges of course! Love em' or hate em', I think they're awesome.

Good To Go

Some new things for summer:

I was so excited to get every single one of these things, absolute must haves for summer :)

The straw hat is from H&M last summer, which I resurrected by the way.   If you every squish a hat (under your feet during a 20 hour car ride to Tennessee :/) the easiest way to fix it is with a steamer!  I kept the hat for so long because I loved it so much and I knew I NEEDED to re-shape it one day, and it only took me a year to realize a steamer would do the trick.  At least I have it now!

Sweet Socks

I almost bought a pack of boring knit socks...and then, I stumbled upon these brightly hued and patterned sheer socks.  Obviously, I chose to buy these instead.  They are great for adding a little spice to your outfit or wearing them in the spring with your favorite summer shoes.

Shoe Pattern

So, I stumbled on these sweet black and white mixed patterned wedges on Solestruck.com.
I think I NEED these. Most of my shoes are plain colors, so I need to spice things up a little with some patterns. They also come in 2 other patterns that are just as lovely.
The hidden wedge and pointed toe are a nice twist that draws me even more to these Maurie & Eve wedges. (Oh, and it's called creeper wedge...I thought this was a funny name- certainly not a bad creeper)
