FNO

Just a tab bit late on this one...Unfortunately I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to, but I figured I would share the few photos I did take and the little goodies I scooped up while shuffling down Broadway in Soho (SO CROWDED!).
My best girl Amanda
Insane shoes that I saw a girl wearing in American Apparel...she did them herself!
Urban Decay Naked palette that I've been dying to get

Yup, I gave in and finally bought the American Apparel leather pouch (only because I got Lauren's discount!)
Jeffrey Campbell Clinic
I didn't buy these at FNO, but for FNO.  I wanted to have them so bad, I ended up buying them twice on Solestruck! The first time I picked standard shipping and they weren't going to be delivered in time.  Second time I picked express and they were scheduled to come the day before, BUT I missed UPS while I was at work!  And so, I finally received these amazing shoes the day of only for them to rip my feet up all night (whoever said these were comfortable in the reviews are out of their minds).

Karen Walker Number One

I've been searching for a new pair of sunglasses that have a subtle 'cat eye' look to them (but not too extreme).  Alas, I found Karen Walker's 'Number One' sunnies and they seemed like the perfect fit! Oh, and I got them for a great price on Ebay (even better!).

Good To Go

Some new things for summer:
MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Good To Go- buy here
Jackie sunnies from Urban Outfitters- buy here
Espadrille wedges from Steve Madden- buy here
I was so excited to get every single one of these things, absolute must haves for summer :)

The straw hat is from H&M last summer, which I resurrected by the way.   If you every squish a hat (under your feet during a 20 hour car ride to Tennessee :/) the easiest way to fix it is with a steamer!  I kept the hat for so long because I loved it so much and I knew I NEEDED to re-shape it one day, and it only took me a year to realize a steamer would do the trick.  At least I have it now!

Sweet Socks

I almost bought a pack of boring knit socks...and then, I stumbled upon these brightly hued and patterned sheer socks.  Obviously, I chose to buy these instead.  They are great for adding a little spice to your outfit or wearing them in the spring with your favorite summer shoes.

I spy: A tattoo (olive on my left foot: olive...Olivia...get it?)

Finally got my wrap Swatch watch :) Why I chose this color is beyond me
I like to pair it with wrapped chains to give it an edgier feel

New Rings- H&M (I obviously have an obsession with rings) Nailpolish- Essie "Mesmerized"

I'll end with a super cute picture of my kitten, Kiki...snoozing away as usual

Coral and Lace

I took my first trip into Williamsburg, Brooklyn and I must say it is a whole different world from Queens.  It's very uhmm hipster artsy (HAHA).  Well anyway, of course I had to go to Beacon's Closet and see what all the fuss is about.  It's a pretty awesome thrift store, you can find a lot of unique things... but you aren't really getting any type of "thrifty" type of bargain.  In any case, I was pretty pleased with what I got after rummaging through what seemed like a million racks.  What do you think?

Sculpture Park

In an attempt to take a panoramic photo of the Manhattan skyline, I went to this really awesome sculpture park in Long Island City.  There weren't too many sculptures out because it's so cold, but surprisingly there were a lot of people riding their bikes, playing with their children, and just staring at the intricate skyline.  These photos are from last Sunday, but I've been SO busy with school and work.  IT NEVER ENDS! (until spring break that is)  So here are the shots Josh and I took in our short visit to the lovely little park (that I'll be sure to visit often in the warmer weather).
Snow angel looking sculptures in the ground

Swarovski stone necklace

gotta love sparkly socks (American Apparel, Ked Sneakers)

finished panoramas (one of the skyline and one of the park) What do you think? Too generic? (I think so...)
