Illustration: Color and Design Pt 2

So, I promised you the second part of the Tiffany illlustration project and here it is! For this illustration I was influenced by the fashion illustrator Nikki Farquharson. Her amazing pattern line work is incredible and it encouraged me to try and create some crazy ink patterns to use as a background. This illustration is also mixed media using digital illustration, digital photography and ink. This particular illustration was based off of Tommy Ton's incredible street style photo from this style.com album (shown below).

Illustration: Color Blocking Tiffany

I simply cannot get away from Tiffany! Here's an illustration I did for my Color and Design final project. I used mixed media (digital illustration, paint and ink). Most of the time school projects are dreadful because you are constrained to certain requirements, but this was basically a free project and I had so much fun with it! I knew I wanted to pick one of my own photos to base the illustration off of and I just couldn't seem to get this outfit out of my mind. What do you think?

Feel free to share, but please make sure to give credit!

P.S. There is a second part to this project that I'm still working on that will be on the blog soon, so be sure to check back!

Yellow

PHOTO: TOMMY TON FOR STYLE.COM

As of now, I am totally swarmed with school projects, so I apologize for the long break. For a little while, I'm going to be posting short posts until I can get my head above water. Now lets talk about this street style photo by Tommy Ton. Seriously, Ton never disappoints with his compositions. There's so much negative space to the left, but somehow, it just works! When it comes to photography, I am a huge fan of COLOR and since fashion seems to be taking a vivid leap into all things color, street style photography has been is especially pleasing to me.

Street Style: Tiffany

Some shots I took of my girl Tiffany from Tiff James Deen, the color blocking queen at the IFB Conference. And I'm quite obsessed with that metal choker as well. She killed it for sure! I want to continue taking street style photos, what do you guys think of the shots?

Some street style inspiration I found browsing Streetfsn.  I would love to be a street style photographer one day, there are so many interesting people and styles and it would be a dream of mine to photograph it all...
