Tangerine Tango

TANGERINE TANGO EYELINER - SEPHORA X PANTONE UNIVERSE
LIP LINE PERFECTOR - MAKE UP FOR EVER
 FLORAL BLOUSE - H&M
ZARA SANDALS

CORAL LIPSTICK - REVLON / CORAL LIP GLOSS - YSL
According to Sephora + Pantone Universe, the color of the year is Tangerine Tango. And I couldn't help but notice this re-occurring color in my spring wardrobe. Here's a short photo story of some of my favorite tangerine pieces.
I've also included some of my lipstick essentials. Recently, I discovered Make Up For Ever's lip line perfector and I have to say, it's one of the most genius make up products. Instead of having to buy a different color for each of your lipsticks, this one liner is transparent and can be used with any shade. Ever get "the bleeds" with your lipstick by the end of your night, where the lipstick seems to just smudge outwards? Well this prevents all of that and it's amazing! A must have for any lipstick girl. Another lipstick essential is Lush's lip scrub. I scrub this stuff on before and after applying lipstick so my lips are silky smooth and delicious too!

Street Style: Tiffany

Some shots I took of my girl Tiffany from Tiff James Deen, the color blocking queen at the IFB Conference. And I'm quite obsessed with that metal choker as well. She killed it for sure! I want to continue taking street style photos, what do you guys think of the shots?

Transparencies

I'm kind of obsessed with this Hermés transparent bag that I saw on TheBlondeSalad.  And it's even better paired with transparent Prada shoes, GORGEOUS!

Fruity Zebra Heels

Photo: Phil Oh

Loving these purple zebra heels from Louis Vuitton S/S 11...they kind of remind me of the Fruit Stripe gum I used to get when I was younger (you know the kind that used to come with the super awesome tattoos?).

You see what I'm talking about?!!

Bright and Bold

Found this editorial in Teen Vogue's May 2011 issue photographed by Richard Burbridge.  I love how the models' heads are cropped out to make all the bold and colorful accessories the center of attention.  My favorite is definitely the third page, so graphic!  Oh yea, can I have those Prada wedges on the first page? I'm obsessed.

The Perfect Spring Shoe

I have been searching for the perfect spring shoe to lift me out of this winter depression...and alas! I have found a beautiful pair of Versace sandals. The platform has such an architectural feel and the complimentary pastel colors are perfection!

Now, if only I had $1,125 to blow on them. A girl can only dream...

Loving the opening in the center (makes it look like a shoe on top of a shoe!)

Heel-less heels?!

Can I just say...WOW! Although these Antonio Berardi heels may be old news, I'm still thinking about how outrageous they are! Why make a heel, with NO heel?! I can imagine myself trying to walk in these and simply tipping forward and falling flat on my face...much like what lady gaga did last year in her Noritaka Tatehana boots (whooopsie!)

Although these seem super dangerous to actually wear, they're kind of like a piece of art, and that's what I love about them. I would put them on display just to drool over, and that's where they belong at a whopping $6,500 retail price (yikes!)

So I'll leave you to stare at some of these amazing heel-less heels by other designers who made this crazy idea their own.
Lady Gaga again in another pair of Noritaka Tatehana shoes (check out those studs!)

8 inches! You might need to get some insurance for these babies

Chau Har Lee, somewhat wearable...maybe.

These futuristic ones are by Kronier Creations

These don't even have a platform in the front! Just one right down the middle, like walking on stilts I suppose (photo from the fashiolista blog)
